April's Window

April's Window is filmed from the filmmaker's bedroom window in Harlem during the COVID 19 lockdown in April. This short film is a meditation on finding beauty in the most minimal of circumstances. An ominous and lyrical collage of images and sounds set to an hypnotic score, it transforms the starkness of the lockdown into an enriching 'dark night of the soul'.
