Devised and performed by Juliet Ellis as part of the Emergency01 and Method Lab Showcase, Under my skin is a live art performance installation that explores mother/daughter relationships. It’s a critical examination of the emotional and physical boundaries of an ambiguous bond, so often fraught with resentment, contradictions and conflicting expectations. Under my skin is dark and chaotic, with strong visuals, signalling subtle undertones of tangled love and emotional insecurity.
